Crafted by Paradise Valley, Montana artist Brad Greenwood, the Assayer’s Lamp is made of hardwoods fashioned with a vintage pulley, counterweight, and hand-stitched steel-mesh lampshade. Greenwood refurbished an antique hand-cranked drill to provide aesthetic and functional purpose to the lamp: cranking the drill handle will raise or lower the lamp support and spin the top governor.
