Montana: Photographs from the Last Best Place
Photography by Andy Austin

Featuring over 300 full-color photos by Montana State University alumni and former Bobcat football player Aundy Austin, this project is intended to be what Austin describes as “a photobook Montanans can be proud of.” The photographer spent more than a decade traveling the Treasure State, capturing moments and landscapes that form the fabric of Montana culture. The book includes scenes that span the prairies and badlands of the east to the mountains of the west. The book was self-published, which allowed Austin to retain creative control over the print size, gold gilding, and local distribution model.
