Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, I graduated from Cathedral H.S. and then attended Montana State University in Bozeman from 1977-81. I completed my studies and graduated with a B.S. in 1981. It was during these years that my love for and desire to live in Montana became ingrained. After graduating, I returned to Indiana and got my first job in the building business. I spent the next 13 years learning much of the wood working trade, acquiring valuable experience and tools, and gaining an understanding of the process of designing and completing various aspects of building projects.
