Product Highlight

When a few old friends got together with the idea of creating a luxury “glamping” resort on the shores of Bear Lake in Northern Utah, one of them suggested building luxury sleeping wagons to go along with the typical tents. They all happened to have experience in the high-end construction industry, and they modeled their prototype deluxe sleeping wagons after authentic early 19th century designs. The accommodations were an instant sensation, and they knew they were onto something.

After outfitting their resort, Conestoga Ranch, they started building more wagons to sell elsewhere. These customized Old West accommodations make for original Western-style guest quarters or additional sleeping quarters on a property or family ranch. And they’re built to last for generations, with heavy timbers and durable tarps to protect them from winter weather.

All “cabins” have built-in bed frames and electrical hookups, and they can be customized with anything from full baths to dining areas. In addition to custom designs, the two existing layouts include the Family Wagon, with a king-sized bed and two twin bunk beds, and the Couples’ Wagon with one king-sized bed and the possibility for additional seating. conestogawagons.com

The Family Wagon includes sleeping quarters for up to six people.

The Couples’ Wagon features a king-sized bed and a sitting area.
